Your Help Can Change Lives

Use the skills and talents you’ve gained over the years, or develop new ones, to make a difference in our community today. As an AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Brown County, you’ll join one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation of people 55 and over.

There is no shortage of ways volunteers can help make a difference. The greatest thing about volunteering may be the benefits it offers to individual recipients, their communities, and volunteers themselves.

Joining RSVP may help you maintain and build social relationships, develop new skills and knowledge, allow you to keep using skills you have mastered, guide you to opportunities that have high impact in our community, and assist you in the transition to retirement.

AmeriCorps Seniors pairs Americans aged 55 and older with organizations making change in communities across the country. Locally, RSVP partners with more than 30 local non-profit organizations (partner stations) to connect senior volunteers with community needs.

Join us and you will choose how, where, and when you want to serve. Local AmeriCorps Seniors partner stations offer many service opportunities from annual event assistance, to weekly or monthly opportunities.
