2026 Rake Up Green Bay September 28, 2026September 28, 2026 Ruth Paquin Events, General Rake Up Green Bay 2026 kicks off with a Volunteer Kickoff Event on Saturday, November 7 from 9:00-11:00 am. Volunteers can stop by to pick up rakes, enjoy coffee and pastries, and even meet some of the homeowners they’ll be helping this year! The raking season officially begins Saturday, November 7, and will continue through the City of Green Bay’s final leaf pick-up date. Once that date is announced, we’ll be sure to share it. Typically, the season wraps up around Thanksgiving. Each year, volunteers make a meaningful difference by helping neighbors clear their yards and prepare for winter. We’d love to have you join us again this year! What You Need to Know Flexible scheduling: You and your assigned homeowner(s) will choose a date that works best between November 7 and the final leaf pick-up day. Sign-up required: Every team or individual must complete and submit the volunteer application (see below) by noon on Friday, October 30. Volunteer solo or as a team: Form your own group or sign up individually. Individuals may be paired with others to create a team, depending on homeowner needs. You must be at least 18 to volunteer alone. Matching process: Volunteers will be matched with homeowners in earIy November. Once matched, you’ll receive details and next steps. Homeowner communication: Volunteers are responsible for contacting their assigned homeowner(s) to arrange a raking date and time. Forms are due by noon on Friday, October 30. Completion of the form is required, whether you are new to the program or have had help in the past. Once the form is submitted, the Volunteer Center will work to find volunteers to help you. The matching process takes place in early November. If you are matched, the volunteers will then contact you to arrange the day and time they will rake your lawn.
